Bring the whole family to the theaters and watch the WELL MADE Metro Manila Filmfest animated movie, "DAYO, sa MUNDO ng ELEMENTALIA"

It features the stellar voices of Nash Aguas, Hopia Legaspi, Pokwang, Michael V, Nova Villa, Noel Trinidad, Johnny Delgado, Gabe Mercado, Pocholo Gonzales, Peque Gallaga & Laurice Guillen. The theme song "LIPAD" is performed by Ms Lea Salonga with the full orchestra, FILharmoniKA. A fantasy-comedy-adventure film for kids & family, DAYO seeks to promote Filipino culture and values including our very own folklore and mythology. With these, the Department of Education and the National Council for Children's Television have endorsed DAYO as a movie to watch this holiday season. The MTRCB gave a General Patronage Rating so it is open to all audiences. The Cinema Evaluation Board gave the highest grade of "A" given its  quality in all aspects of filmmaking. A CEB member commented after watching the movie, "Very beautiful. Makes you proud to be pinoy."

Director Leo Alcantara from the Office of the Press Secretary said "'DAYO' connects to all audiences wd  its intelligently imaginative storyline given an absorbing screenplay as it reflects and integrates Filipino culture and contemporary subcultures, values, belief  system as well as relegiousity in an intensely captivating and highly entertaining world-class dimensional animation. Truly, a gem of Philippine cinema which predictably will earn national and international recognition & at the same time be a blockbuster."

The Original Video SoundTrack is now available in music stores nationwide featuring Roots of Nature, Moymoy Palaboy, Joey Ayala and Juan Lunar. Released by Sony BMG, the full orchestra music of the movie is also included.

Spread the word. KAYA MONG LUMIPAD! "Basta may tiwala ka sa iyong sarili at malinis ang iyong hangarin, hinding-hindi ka mag-iisa." - Lolo Nano (Peque Gallaga)

I do not agree with the age-old tagline "Let's support the Filipino movies." We should only support well made and entertaining Filipino movies, not witless, dull or vulgar trash even if they're studded with stars! --- Wilson Lee Flores Phil Star Sunday lifestyle
