ONGAKUSOCIETY and ROCK ED PHILIPPINES

ONGAKUSOCIETY is honored to have ROCK ED PHILIPPINES as a partner at Ongaku Fusion!

ROCK ED PHILIPPINES is a volunteer group working to provide venues and events for alternative education via a ten-year series of alternative education projects. Through music, the arts, poetry, sports, photography, fashion, graphic design, literature, new approaches to science, film, cultural studies, theatre, dance, and any other way except being in a classroom -- the convenors of Rock Ed decided to Rock Society through Education and educate the youth through rock culture.

Help us help ROCK ED! Bring used school books and reference texts, fiction and non-fiction novels, coffee table and kids picture books -- and anything else you can get your hands on! -- to Ongaku Fusion on October 21, 2006 at AHOY THERE! and trade them in for fun freebies*! This is your chance to make a difference! Come to Ongaku Fusion and lets ROCK ED the Philippines!

*While supplies last. ONGAKUSOCIETY reserves sole right in determining whether the donated books can be accepted, and the equivalent free item claimed. Disputes will not be entertained. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Ongaku Fusion Guidelines

Ticketing:

1) Tickets can be pre-ordered for PhP 120 apiece (entrance plus one beer). To place an order, please e-mail us at ongakusociety-owner[at]yahoogroups[dot]com with your name, mobile phone number, and the number of tickets you will be purchasing. Please mention if you are a Preferred member to avail of discounts for pair tickets.

2) Tickets can also be bought at the gate starting 4:00 PM.

Event Line-up

1) Event line-ups and schedules are subject to change without prior notice by the Organizers.

Cosplay

1) J-pop, J-rock, Gothic Lolita, Fruitsy Harajuku, and other Japanese street-fashion inspired cosplays are welcome. However other forms of cosplay like anime, manga, sci-fi and gaming are disqualified from competition. Qualification will be determined at the Organizers' discretion.

2) Participants to the Cosplay competition are requested to register in full costume at the booth located near the bar entrance. Please fill out the proper forms before proceeding.

3) Two winners will be declared during the Cosplay ramp segment of the program. One winner will be selected as OngakuSociety Pick; a second winner will be selected by the audience as the Crowd Favorite.

Winners will receive certificates from OngakuSociety and gift packages from our generous sponsors.

4) NO DRESSING ROOMS will be provided; however, there is a public rest room located within the venue building, so feel free to dress up there.

Media Coverage and Accreditation

1) Representatives of major news and media corporations have the privilege of covering the event even without formal notification to the Organizers of the event.

2) However, representatives of smaller, independently run print, broadcast, and internet-based media groups (including, but not limited to: personal sites, mailing lists, web forums, and online communities) are required to submit a formal letter of request and an acceptable list of credentials to the organizers before being granted media passes.

3) Noncompliance with the accreditation rule will result in subsequent ejection from the event premises, as well as banning from future activities held by or affiliated with the Organizers.
