INQUIRER.net has released a new version of its Eleksyon2007 podcast interviews of senatorial candidates to meet the increasing demands from listeners.
The new version will be easier to download, said Creativoices chief executive officer Pocholo Gonzales, technical partner of INQUIRER.net for the Eleksyon 2007 podcast where senatorial candidates are interviewed in-depth by the website's editors and reporters.
Starting with the podcast interview of senatorial candidate Sonia Roco, the podcasts have been broken into separate segments, Gonzales added.
Podcasts prior to Roco's will be reissued in the new format over the next few days, according INQUIRER.net editor-in-chief JV Rufino.
Many of the candidates interviewed in the podcast series have praised the new medium, saying it gives them a better way to explain their platforms as compared with television soundbites.
The podcast audio files are available to listeners on the site's podcast section. From that section they can be played live or downloaded to a user's hard drive or MP3 player for later listening.
A Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed for the podcasts is available for listeners who wish to be informed when new podcasts are available.
